About Us

The organization's programming approach focuses on developing innovative programs with a complementary and philanthropic approach. This includes hybrid and innovative Sexual Reproductive Health Rights programs that mainstream advocacy, mental health and GBV survivor support, skills development, emergency response mechanisms, and ageing programming, among others. The headquarters of the organization is in Blantyre, Malawi.

The governance of the Social Justice Foundation comprises individuals with diverse expertise in fields such as law, health, advocacy, finance, information & communication technology, education, management, and LGBTIQ+ programming.
This diversity in skills is crucial for ensuring effective and efficient oversight functioning, as well as upholding corporate governance principles.
Social Justice Foundation has a board of 7 members who provide such oversight.

Our Purpose, Vision and Mission

  • Social Justice Foundation aims to redress the social injustices encountered by the LGBTIQ+ community by bridging the extant gaps at national, regional, and international levels.
  • A more inclusive and just society where the LGBTIQ+ communities are fully socially included and accepted.
  • To advocate for the full endowment of social justice to the LGBTIQ+ community in Malawi through the promotion of equity, equality, and social inclusion.
