About The Justice Support Program

We CHALLENGE discriminatory laws.

The Justice Support program by the Social Justice Foundation is a catalyst for change, focused on dismantling legal barriers for the LGBTIQ+ community in Malawi. Through strategic litigation, it challenges discriminatory laws and advocates for social inclusion in various spheres.

Addressing deep- rooted societal prejudices, the program aims to institutionalize the foundation, ensuring long-term impact and sustainability. SJF’s stakeholder engagement in this program involves collaboration with policymakers, government agencies, judiciary, civil society, and international partners. The program also focuses on capacity building initiatives that foster resilience. It unfolds as a journey toward legal reforms, human rights, and equality, envisioning a Malawi where the LGBTIQ+ community's rights are not just recognized but passionately protected, contributing to a more inclusive and accepting society.

About The Skills Development/Economic Support Program

We EMPOWER the LGBTIQ+ community.

The Economic Support initiative of the Social Justice Foundation propels the empowerment of the LGBTIQ+ community in Malawi. Striving for social and economic equality, the program addresses financial challenges, unemployment, and discrimination faced by the community.

Through economic empowerment initiatives, capacity-building workshops, and partnerships with relevant stakeholders, the foundation seeks to provide avenues for sustainable livelihoods. It tailors interventions to specific needs, fostering resilience against financial vulnerabilities. The program envisions a future where economic opportunities are abundant, breaking down barriers and stereotypes.

About The Pyscho-Socio Support Program

We PROVIDE pyscho-socio support.

The Psychosocial Support program offers compassionate assistance to the LGBTIQ+ community, addressing mental health and sexual reproductive health rights (SRHR). In a society marked by discrimination and violence, this program surpasses conventional mental health aid, integrating SRHR awareness and advocacy.

By providing confidential counseling and safe spaces, it emphasizes sexual and reproductive health's significance. It strives to overcome barriers to essential SRHR services, empowering individuals to make informed choices by collaborating with health care providers. Through campaigns and healthcare partnerships, the foundation envisions a future where the psychosocial well- being of the LGBTIQ+ community is intricately linked with their sexual and reproductive health rights, fostering holistic empowerment and inclusivity
